Any old jerseys?

Back in January, in the Viewpoint section, I posted a story about the efforts of the Australian club, Dubbo Rhinos, to hold a rugby jersey collection and auction.

They are trying to help out one of their players, Wilson Te Whata, who suffered a severe neck injury in a training accident. To try and raise money for Wilson, the club decided to collect as many rugby jerseys from as many clubs and schools around the world as possible, then auction them on their website.

With some help from the Australian Rugby Union and Wilson's church, the Rhinos have raised enough money to build a specially designed house for Wilson and family. This house is almost completed and the money raised in the jumper auction will help provide for Wilson’s future.

The search for jerseys and memorabilia is well and truly on and there is still time to help. If you have any old jerseys or club ties at the bottom a drawer you can send them to:
