Gordon Bulloch thinks Scotland need time to gel
Glasgow's Gordon Bulloch thinks this season could be one of transition for the Scotland international team.

Gordon sees the changes to the international set-up as entirely positive, but he warns that expectations should not be too high for this year.

"It will take a bit of time for things to gel," said Gordon. There have been a lot of changes in a very short space of time and I've no doubt it's going to be tough for us.

"Matt Williams (Scotland's new coach) has had to pick virtually a whole new backline after Gregor Townsend, Bryan Redpath, Kenny Logan and others all retired.

"He's also trying to introduce a lot of new ideas, which takes the players time to become familiar with.

"Added to that is the fact that our opponents have all had pretty settled regimes for some time now, so it's going to be pretty difficult.

"Having said that, the attitude among the players is very positive and we're all desperate for the Six Nations to get under way."
