With minutes left Glasgow were hanging onto a seven-point lead before winger Stefan Terreblanche squeezed in for a converted try to clinch the draw. Even after that, Glasgow could still have snatched the match but a Calvin Howarth drop-kick went wide of the posts.
Andy said in today's Daily Record: "I am proud of my acheivement in being only the second player from all three nations to get to the 50-game mark but the last couple of minutes put a dampener on any celebrations.
"I'd like to say our glass was half full after holding the team at the top of the league. But all the guys reckon the glass is half empty because we should have shut them out.
"Our level of fitness has improved hugely over the past few months, so that made it doubly annoying that we faded when it mattered most.
"Normally, the final quarter is when we are at our strongest. So it was one that got away. Without doubt a couple of points dropped, rather than gained."
Glasgow coach Hugh Campbell told The Herald: "We've picked up points in every Celtic League game since the beginning of October so there is some consistency there, but we need to win these games before we deserve to earn any real credibility."
