Glasgow's Celtic League match against Munster on Sunday at Thomond Park will be refereed by South African Jonathan Kaplan.

He is in Europe to referee also two matches in the Six Nations Championship – Ireland v England at Lansdowne Road on Saturday 26 February, and Scotland v Wales at Murrayfield two weeks later.

Beware as Kaplan loves producing cards both yellow and red! He persistently penalises teams at the breakdown and won't stand for any back chat of any kind. He's been regularly verbally attacked by players and the media after Tri-Nations games in the Southern Hempishere.
