Jon Petrie thinks tonight's game is massive for both teams
Glasgow skipper, Jon Petrie, thinks tonight's clash with Cardiff is "massive" for both teams.

Jon told today's Herald: We are both in a position where qualification for the Celtic Cup is up in the air. We were third in th table not that long ago and now we find ourselves down in ninth spot, just ahead of them. They are also fighting to get into next season's Heineken Cup so there are all sorts of issues to settle."

Jon also claims that the present uncertainty over contracts won't affect the performance of Glasgow players. He said: It is a pretty uncertain time of year for lots of players. A big number of guys are about to be out of contract and the rumour mill will always be churning at this time of the season.

"I can assure our supporters that everyone here will be giving everything for Glasgow until such times as they are not Glasgow players.

"We are all professional and I won't expect anything less than 100% from me or my players. If people are not pulling their weight then questions have to be asked about them."
