If you're looking for some great rugby entertainment this Saturday then get along to the Glasgow City Sevens at Dumbreck.

Guest sides drawn from Scotland and England will be competing for the honour of winning the inaugural 'Glasgow City Sevens'.

Glasgow Warriors Academy will be taking part and will be including some familiar names in their line-up.

Sevens from Sale Sharks and Edinburgh Rugby Academy will also line up alongside "King of the Sevens" Melrose and Scottish Premiership Champions Glasgow Hawks in a Tournament which is now firmly on course to becoming the 'Blue Riband' event of the sevens circuit outside of The Greenyards.

There has been a sevens tournament at Dumbreck each year since 1950, and this year's event marks the culmination of an excellent season for Cartha Queen's Park, including the winning of promotion to Division Two of the Premiership.

The 'Glasgow City Sevens' will be preceded by a Rugby Union Skills Clinic for children from 9 to 14 years. This will run from 9:30am until 12:00 noon, and will involve coaching provided by Glasgow Warriors and Sale Sharks.

Draw for Glasgow City Sevens (Dumbreck tomorrow, 1pm):

Glasgow Warriors Academy V GHA
West Of Scotland v Sale Jets
Hillhead/Jordanhill v Melrose
Glasgow Hawks v East Kilbride
Sale Sharks v Ayr
Dalziel v Scottish Universities
Greenock Wands v Cartha QP
Edinburgh Rugby Academy v Glasgow Accies
