GB to face Bay of Plenty

Gordon Bulloch plays in the Lions opening match
Glasgow's Gordon Bulloch has been named the in the British and Irish Lions side to play the Bay of Plenty next Saturday.

Clive Woodward said: "There is a huge sense of excitement and anticipation now that our first game in New Zealand is so close. Because it is the first game, Bay of Plenty will want to give us a very tough match, and we have selected a very strong side who will give us a good start to the Tour."

The management also stressed that Scotland's Simon Taylor is continuing to progress well with his rehab. He is being assessed on a daily basis and was not considered for selection.
