Barry Irving has been nominated for Italy's player-of-the-year award

Barry Irving, the former Glasgow stand-off, is on short-list of five for Italy's player of the year award.

Barry, who plays for Amatori Catania, is the second highest scorer in the Italian league with 196 points.
