Dan leads the way

Dan Parks has been in great form for Glasgow
Glasgow skipper earned himself his third man of the match award in the Warriors 35-24 win over Ulster at Ravenhill.

“He is really doing it for us,” Glasgow coach Sean Lineen said in The Times. “With both teams winning, we deserve a bit of praise for the way things are going for Scottish pro teams. The players have responded fantastically well and Dan Parks has shown an amazing determination to come back from the way he was being talked about after the Six Nations.

“He is up there, getting cut - he has four stitches in his lip - getting stuck in and seems to be enjoying it. I’m delighted with the way he is playing at the moment. He is doing really well, leading from the front.”

Good to see Parks showing his true quality. With Lineen going to Argentina we may see this sort of form in the International squad.

While it was most definitely a team effort, Dan has yet again shown his strength of character. He's done really well in Ally's absence as captain. Let's hope the squad can continue to improve over the summer and start the new season strongly.

Anyone who has followed Daniel Arthur Parks throughout his career knows that he always bounces back after adversity. Champions have a habit of doing that.
