Samoan World Cup star Justin Va'a and Canadian international Kevin Tkachuk put pen to paper along with one of Scotland’s brightest young talents, 23-year-old Moray Low, who has played every Glasgow game this season.
On all three front-rowers, who weigh a combined 370kgs, Warriors head coach, Sean Lineen, said: “Justin adds a real physicality to our game and is very proud to play for Glasgow.
“Kevin, or T-Bone as he’s known, has been with us for a while now and has become an invaluable member of our squad. He’s a very mobile player and I expect good things from him next season.
“As for Moray, well the world’s his oyster. He’s a fantastic local talent and to be at the age he is and anchor the scrum like he does proves he’s an international player in the making.”
Both Va’a and Low have committed to the club until 2010 whilst Tkachuk has extended his contract by a year.
Looking ahead to the final test of the season against Heineken Cup finalists Munster, Lineen added: “We’ve decided to name a 25-man squad today because of the bumps and bruises in the squad that are typical at this time of the season.
“It’s a big last game for us with plenty to play for, especially the pride within the players, and who better to challenge ourselves against than the European finalists.”
The Glasgow Warriors squad to play Munster in the Magners League at Musgrave Park on Saturday 10 May (kick-off 5pm) is…
