Eric Milligan is returning to his career as a PE teacher
Glasgow hooker Eric Milligan has decided to quit pro rugby and return to his career as a PE teacher.

Eric joined the Warriors in 2006 after skippering Glasgow Hawks to three successive Premier titles. A popular and well-respected figure, Eric joined Hawks after playing with Currie and Kilmarnock and represented Scotland and Glasgow at age-group level.

Glasgow skipper Alastair Kellock paid tribute to Eric in The Scotsman: "Eric has been one of the best professional players I've ever played with," said Al, "even though he hasn't played a lot of games. He's been a real motivator and leader and I and the club really wish him luck with his future career."

Eric will remain available for the rest of the season as cover.
