Chris Cusiter hopes Glasgow can scale new heights
Chris Cusiter says partnerships forged in Romania can lift Glasgow Warriors to new heights next season after leading a Scottish side to a first tournament triumph in a decade.

Chris won the Player of the Tournament award as he led a young Scotland A side to their IRB Nations Cup win in Bucharest.

He was particularly excited by the relationships built with half-back partner Ruaridh Jackson and Warriors skipper Al Kellock.

"I really enjoyed working with Al and playing with Ruaridh Jackson for the first time I felt was really productive," he said in the Evening Times.

"We also had guys like Richie Vernon, who have stood up and put up their hands for regular selection.

"If they are capable of playing at A international level they are certainly capable of doing it at Magners League level."

Chris was a class apart in Romania .. can't wait to see him in a Glasgow shirt! In all but name, I thought Al captained that team so there will be no problem there. Jedi in second row and Dewey on the wing .. also interesting? Richie Vernon effectively scored the cup winning try. Moray, Kelly, Foz put in massive shifts in the heat and Ruaridh looked cool! .. as a bonus, Edinburgh no longer have Robinson!!

Sounds like a very productive tour for the Warriors. Cusiter getting to work with Al, Ruaridh and the rest of the guys. The impressive performances from the Foz and Richie suggests we maybe are getting a bit of depth. It certainly didn't appear that Robbo was favouring Edinburgh guys either, which can't be bad.
