Kelly Brown's fine form has been rewarded
Ten Glasgow Warriors have been included in the Scotland squad to face France at Murrayfield on Sunday (ko 3.00pm).

Nine Warriors start - Thom Evans, Max Evans, Graeme Morrison, Chris Cusiter, Johnnie Beattie, John Barclay, Kelly Brown, Alastair Kellock and Moray Low - while the uncapped Richie Gray is on the bench.

Coach Andy Robinson said: "Kelly Brown has played well since the autumn when he didn't get selected and he was frustrated about that.

"He's gone back to Glasgow and, after a number of man-of-the-match performances, has worked his way back into the team."

Graeme Morrison also makes a return to the Scotland XV after losing his place during during November.

"Graeme responded from the autumn," said Robinson.

"He was disappointed with his attacking performance against Australia, although defensively he played very well.

"With the combination of playing Max, we need that bit of go forward in the centres and Graeme gives us that - as well as Sean Lamont off the wing.

"There are a number of guys who can establish the go forward, as well as the flair players and the speed of the likes of the Evans boys and Chris Paterson."

Dan will be back in the Scotland set up before long. Hopefully because he proves himself too good to be left out much longer and not because Godman scrapes the bottom of the rugby barrel as only he can, throws away the first couple of games and humiliates the jersey. Again.

Gutted - one of the first names "I" would pick is Dan Parks. How many times must that man prove himself? Dan is a match winner!

Godman's gonna be your weak link. The French will have noted how he folded under pressure just a month ago and will target him. They'll also pepper Paterson with high balls all day.

Couldnt agree more - Godman is supposed to be in there to get the backs moving - but im not convinced he will - and thats when we discover we're screwed because he doesnt have a kicking game.

Dan should be in the 22 - but I guess thats why Southwell is in there - getting game time at 10 for Stade Francais - and possibly has the biggest boot in the Scotland squad?

Good to see so much Warriors in the Scotland squad.
Again a polemic at 10.
Godman (bad boot) or Parks (a bit scary under pressure).
Both of them have qualities and weaknesses,
Anyway, Godman or Parks, both would be the target for the French!
