Scotland's club men took the honours with a 13-9 win over France at Netherdale.
Callum Anderson scored the game's only try with his Melrose team-mate Scott Wight grabbing the other points with the boot.
Damien Kelly was sin-binned near the end but the Scots held on for the win.
Scotland U20 earned a hard-fought 8-8 draw against their French counterparts in Inverness. Scotland's points came from a Tom Brown try and Alex Blair penalty in a game they could have edged at the end.
There was disappointment for Sean Lineen's Scotland A team after a 34-19 defeat to the Irish Wolfhounds at Ravenhill. It was an mistake-ridden performance from an experienced Scotland team with the Irish pouncing on numerous handling errors and turnovers.
Glasgow's James Eddie went over for Scotland's first try with a Mark Robertson score and a penalty try being converted by Ruaridh Jackson.
Sean Lineen said: “There were a lot of good performances, but I was very disappointed with the result.
“We played like a team that had not been together very long and all of their five tries came from us giving them the ball.
“I was pleased with certain aspects, but all five of Ireland’s tries came from our mistakes.
“Ireland’s tries came from four turnovers and one aimless kick which they successfully counterattacked.
“Our scrum was good; I thought Jon Welsh, Kyle Traynor and Euan Murray all got stuck in there.
“We need to look at how we look after the ball because basically we coughed up the ball far too many times.
“The intensity was like a Test match. The boys were blown away after the first 15 minutes.
“We hadn’t played a match beforehand while Ireland were coming back off a loss at England away, so they were pumped up.
“The players will have learned a lot from the experience and what is required to succeed in international rugby.”
