Glasgow team to take on Connacht

Calum Forrester starts for Glasgow
Head coach Sean Lineen has confirmed the Glasgow Warriors team to play Connacht at the Galway Sportsground tomorrow night (ko 8.00pm).

The Warriors, who currently lie in second spot in the Magners League table, are unbeaten in their last four away encounters in the Magners League and have never before managed a sequence of five league away games without losing.

However, Glasgow's only win in Connacht since the 2001 quarter-final was 40-23 at the Sportsground on 13 April 2007.

feeling that Glasgow really need to win this game given the fixtures list if they want to have any chance of winning the title.

This team needs to gel, particularly the units within the team. If the back row take no sh1t and give the 1/2 backs quick ball, then we might see a good 10-12 partnership clicking with Ruaridh and Peter. Great to see Shawsy back in at wing. He is very heads-up player, and has the pace and guile to worry defences. I hope he has a good game. People need to be putting their hands up for next season tonight.
