Glasgow Warriors are set to sign Alastair Muldowney from English Championship side Moseley.

Glasgow head coach Sean Lineen believes the 6ft 5in, 18st 4lb, Scotland-qualified lock will be a valuable addition to his squad.

“We’ve been tracking him for quite a while,” said Sean in the Herald. “He’s a big, ball-carrying lock and while he will need to do a bit of work on his fitness he knows that and we’ve got the summer to work on it.”

Rob Harley, the West Of Scotland and Scotland U20 lock, is also expected to join up with the Warriors next season.

Sounds like a great couple of signings - a more experienced guy plus raw talent.
