Will Cliff is back with Sale Sharks
Will Cliff is back with Sale Sharks after a loan move to Glasgow Warriors fell through.

The scrum-half played for Glasgow in the pre-season match with Sale Sharks but the loan move fell through due to registration difficulties.

Strange one this. Who made the mistake in the paperwork? I wonder if the paperwork problems had anything to do with his woeful performance last week.

Bit harsh that, especially if you mean the game against Wasps. I thought he looked pretty useful, especially in broken play. Shame that he had to go back so quickly, leaving a lot of responsibility on Pyrgos's shoulders. Hopefully Gregor will be back soon.

I think it may be because he and Sale had an expectation for regular starting XV exposure and after the Leinster game reality bit. Agree it is a shame but tough titty.

I actually meant it was a shame that Warriors find themselves with only one fit scrum half. Hope its not tough titty for us. Clearly the decision was taken before the Leinster game, as we had no cover at 9 on Friday.
