The Glasgow forwards coach told the Evening Times: “In Troy Nathan we have the type of experienced player who is very vocal and can give us some real leadership in the backs at centre.
“Tommy Seymour from Ulster is another guy who is just desperate to be playing regular first-team rugby.
“Then you have a guy like Rory Pitman who has so much talent and potential but was in competition with a back row that was a who’s who at Ospreys. Now he has a fresh start at Glasgow and I think he could be a real gem.
“Michael Cusack has had a foot injury but he has got back into training now and he is just an awesome unit. The power he will bring to our front row at tight-head will be immense.
“You also have Scott Wight and Gordon Reid in from the domestic club game and they have both impressed.”
