Press reports suggest Melrose duo Fraser Thomson and Bruce Dick have been awarded Elite Development Player contracts for the coming season with Glasgow Warriors.

23-year-old Thomson has been a stand-out performer in Premier One and represented Scotland's club international squad. The full-back spent some time with Sale Sharks last season before moving back to Melrose.

Bruce Dick is another Melrose back who impressed in his team's march to the Premier One championship.
