Bruce Dick went over for Melrose
A try from Glasgow's EDP centre Bruce Dick helped Melrose to a fine 30-29 win over Doncaster on Saturday.

Fraser Thomson also featured in the British & Irish Cup match at Castle Park.

Stirling County opened their B&I Cup account with a 40-25 win over Neath at Bridgehaugh.

Sean Kennedy grabbed two tries while former Warrior Steve Swindall went over for another. Troy Nathan and Adam Ashe also featured for County.

It wasn't such a good day for Dundee High who went down 43-17 to Swansea at St Helens. Taylor Paris started on the wing for Dundee.

Scotland's fourth B&I Cup representatives Gala edged out London Scottish 27-23 at Netherdale. Former Glasgow centre Dave McCall was at centre for Scottish.
