Warriors want to break on right note

Peter Murchie could be back in action on Friday
Peter Murchie says Glasgow have to go into the international break with a win over Treviso at Scotstoun on Friday night (ko 7.35pm).

Injury has limited Peter's appearances this season and a match-day illness ruled him out of a return to action against Ulster.

But the full-back is set to return to the fray as the Warriors seek a repeat of the bonus-point win over Treviso in Italy earlier this month.

Peter told the Evening Times: "It's really important we keep our winning run going, especially at home.

"The crowd at Scotstoun has been awesome all season and there is a really good buzz around the club.

"We are back into the league and we are keen to stay where we are at the top of the table. Hopefully we can get a really good crowd in there on Friday night and we will put in a solid performance to give the fans something to cheer about.

"Going into the international break we want to end things on the right note after a successful few weeks.

"It is up to whoever plays on Friday to make sure that happens in front of our own fans."
