The Warriors today confirmed that following an MRI scan at Ross Hall Hospital in Glasgow, Chris Fusaro will require surgery on his right ankle, which he injured in last Sunday's game with Toulouse.
Following surgery the flanker will then undergo a period of rehab and the length of time he will be out of action for will be determined following the operation.
The Warriors have also confirmed that Adam Ashe will be sidelined for several weeks with a neck injury, sustained playing for Scotland against New Zealand at BT Murrayfield last month.
Glasgow Warriors head coach Gregor Townsend said: "Both Chris (Fusaro) and Adam (Ashe) have been playing really well and this is a setback for them.
"We wish them all the best with their rehab and look forward to welcoming them back into the squad in the New Year."
