Injury update

Duncan Weir could be out for up to four months
Glasgow Warriors this afternoon released an injury update on three members of the playing squad.

Duncan Weir

Following an injury sustained in the game against Edinburgh Rugby at Scotstoun on Saturday 27 December and a subsequent MRI scan at BMI Ross Hall Hospital, it was advised that Duncan Weir required surgery to repair his right biceps.

Duncan has successfully undergone surgery and will be out of action for up to four months.

Tyrone Holmes

Tyrone Holmes has had surgery at BMI Ross Hall Hospital to repair an eye socket fracture sustained in the game against Edinburgh Rugby at BT Murrayfield on Friday 2 January.

It is anticipated that he could be unavailable for selection for up to six weeks.

Josh Strauss

Josh Strauss is currently undergoing investigation and assessment, following an ankle injury sustained against Montpellier at Scotstoun yesterday.
