Jonny Gray says the Warriors owed their supporters a performance
Jonny Gray says the Warriors owed their supporters a good performance after the 22-5 win over Racing 92 at Rugby Park.

The Warriors had only slim hopes of reaching the quarter-finals but despite failing to make the knock-out stages but the their skipper believes they can take positives out of the way they played against the big spending French side.

Jonny said: "We're really happy with the result. It's been a pretty disappointing European campaign so we are delighted to finish off with a win.

"We knew it was going to be very hard against a very strong Racing team who have been in good form in Europe, so all fairness to the boys because they dug in and got the win.

"We knew we owed the supporters a performance because they have been supporting us throughout."

Leone Nakarawa was named man of the match after a powerful display from number eight.

He added: "It was a different challenge for me to play number eight but I want to thank all my teammates because they gave it everything. We did well."
