The Warriors travel to London tomorrow afternoon ahead of their first pre-season game against Harlequins on Saturday (ko 4.00pm) - live on Warriors TV.

Head coach Gregor Townsend believes the Aviva Premiership side will provide a really good challenge as the Warriors prepare for the season ahead.

Gregor said: “It's great that we've got such high quality pre-season fixtures.

"We're going away from home as work continues on our new artificial pitch and to play Harlequins on Saturday will be a really good test for us.

"They play high-tempo rugby and have a very similar philosophy to us, so that will be a really good challenge.

"I've not been to Gloucester as a coach, but playing at Kingsholm was a really good experience and those two games will give us the preparation and intensity we need.

"The fact we're playing away from home helps because our first game is away to Connacht, the champions, and we know how tough that'll be.

"Our third pre-season game against Canada 'A', which is the week of the Connacht game, allows the whole squad to get match time as they've certainly been working hard and we want to give them the opportunity to play and show us where they've improved over pre-season."
