Alex Allan faces a disciplinary hearing
A Disciplinary Panel will meet in Dublin on Wednesday evening, December 5 to consider the red-card decision against Glasgow's Alex Allan which occurred against Scarlets on Saturday.

The incident occurred in the 18th minute of the Guinness PRO14 Round 10 fixture at Scotstoun Stadium (Galway) when referee Frank Murphy deemed the player to have committed an act of foul play against an opponent (No 4, Jake Ball).

The referee showed the player a red card under Law 9.13 - A player must not tackle an opponent early, late or dangerously. Dangerous tackling includes, but is not limited to, tackling or attempting to tackle an opponent above the line of the shoulders even if the tackle starts below the line of the shoulders.

The player will face a Disciplinary Panel via video conference, the Panel will comprise of Jennifer Donovan (Chair), Kim Moloney and John Carroll (all Ireland).
