Fraser Brown has signed a new Glasgow deal
In 2019 Fraser Brown signed a new three-year deal with Glasgow Warriors.

The deal will keep the Scotland hooker at Scotstoun until summer 2023.

Brown, who has 46 caps for his country, can also operate in the backrow.

The 30-year-old made his debut for the club against Zebre back in February 2013 and has gone on to make 91 appearances for the club.

His new three-year contract will take him into his tenth year with the Warriors.

He was part of the 2015 Guinness PRO12 title-winning squad and went on to be one of the team's key men in securing a first-ever European quarter-final in the 2016/17 campaign.

Brown was also a lynchpin in the side that reached the 2019 Guinness PRO14 Final at Celtic Park, including being named as captain for the 34-10 victory over Edinburgh at Scotstoun in April.

Speaking to glasgowwarriors.org, Brown, said: "I'm really happy to be staying at Scotstoun.

"I've been at Glasgow for pretty much my entire career, and the club kick-started my career back in 2012.

"We've got a great group of guys here and it's a club I'm proud to be a part of.

"One of the most important things about being a player is the faith shown in you by the coaches and everyone at the club, and that's a big factor behind deciding to stay here.

"The fans and the atmosphere around Scotstoun are amazing, and it's something that really gives you confidence to go out and perform."

Glasgow Warriors Head Coach, Dave Rennie, added: "It's a great signing for us.

"Fraser is a top man and an absolute world class player, who sets high standards for himself and others.

"He's got a phenomenal skill set with the ability to play at both hooker and 7 internationally.

"A proud Warrior, Fraser's passion, experience and brutality will be of huge benefit to our club over the next three years."
