Dave joined Glasgow from Aberdeen Grammar School FP at the start of last season.

Dave learned his rugby at Merchiston Castle School and won international under-19 recognition with selection in Scotland’s squad for the 1998 FIRA world junior championship in France. However, he played in only one game, being injured in the opening match against Chile. He took two years out from rugby, but while studying marine biology and zoology at Aberdeen University he played two seasons with Aberdeen Grammar.

He also had a season of club rugby in New Zealand, and after his return to Scotland his performances for Aberdeen Grammar last season earned him the offer of a professional contract.

Dave's appearances were limited last season but in his last few games he showed some good form and will be looking to establish himself this term.

If Dave continues with Glasgow I can really see him making it all the way to the International scene. He is looking a litle skinny this season though, perhaps the big boys on the team could help him with his weights. Proudfoot looks big I am sure he wil have a few tips. Blair - age 8

Skinny - are you crazy he is a machine. He should be played more often. He has a flair which Glasgow is lacking. Good to hear from you Blair.

I cannot believe this guy hasn't been given more of a run. There is a real lack of flair out wide both for Glasgow and Scotland and Millard has something the rest don't - natural flair. Hope to see him being given more chances this season, especially at full back.

As a Coventry fan it's good to hear some good comments about Millard. I hope he can show his full potential with regular starts in ND1 for us, and earn a representative place in the process.

Natural Flair!! Only if he is wearing them. Looked okay at Aberdeen when they were going well, but was never the match winner that others were there, Oddie etcetera. Flattered to deceive. Nothing much more than a a guy with a bit of gas and little rugby.
I couldn't understand why he was signed by Glasgow, I do understand why he didn't get a run. Good Luck to him now hhas been sent to Coventry.
