He joined Boroughmuir in 1998, having played for the North Harbour provincial team at under-19, under-21 and adult levels as well as the New Zealand Youth Development XV. Is Calvin any relation to one Shane Howarth who played for Auckland in 1991-2 at least? I saw the name in an old New zealand rugby annual.

I think Shane Howarth is the uncle of Calvin? Either that or cousins.

Calvin has been a shining star for Glasgow this month - and looks sure to be giving Dan a real job when he returns from International duty.

It can only be good for the team to have competition for these key positions!

Calvin is on supreb form! He is kicking brillanitly but would like to see him improvbe his running game and then he may challenge Parks for the 10 jersey.
