Lock forward Dan joined Glasgow at the start of the 2004/2005 season and signed a new two year deal in 2008.

Now Scottish qualified through residency, Dan made his Scotland A team debut in the 67-7 thrashing of Ireland A at McDiarmid Park back in February.

On signing a new two-year contract in May 2008 Dan said: "This season has definitely been eventful, but I’ve learnt a lot in the last few months. Being involved in Glasgow's Heineken Cup campaign this year, especially in the win over Biarritz, has been a highlight but I'm pretty proud of my involvement with the Scotland A team as well. I'm now Scottish-qualified so it’s important for me that I have the chance to continue playing in Scotland."

Dan played for the University of Canterbury Zealand and has also played for the Canterbury NPC side and been part of the Canterbury Crusaders development squad.

Dan has also represented New Zealand Universities and is a graduate engineer.

    Does he qualify for Scotland?

Don't think he's eligible for Scotland. If he stays here for three years though...

His real nickname is Gumby ( as in that green bendy cartoon dude), earned with valour at college. Gumby is my favourite Warrior.

He has stayed here for 3 years! And hey, presto, he's Scottish now:
    21st Feb 2008
    Kellock's Glasgow team-mate, Dan Turner,
is brought onto the bench and will win his first
representative honours for Scotland if he features
    during the 80 minutes.
Turner qualifies for Scotland through residency.

    You're a Turner, Dan!
