Scott joined Glasgow in 2004 on a short-term contract and despite sustaining a nasty arm injury while playing for the Warriors, impressed enough to secure a new deal.
Scott had left Orrell to join Rotherham for the 2004-2005 season, but he had to look elsewhere for full-time rugby when the Yorkshire club ran into financial troubles.
Scott has captained Great Britain Under-19s at rugby league while with the St Helens club and is a Super League winner with the Knowsley Road club.
Scott switched to the union game playing for Worcester and Orrell before joining up at Rotherham. He joined Glasgow after two pre-season games as a trialist.
Scott is a versatile player having operated at stand-off, centre, wing and full back.
