Mike Adamson joined Glasgow Warriors on a full-time contract in May 2007.

He now has a professional Scotland Sevens contract but is still able to play for Glasgow.

Mike made his Scotland under-21 debut in the world championship match against Canada in Mendoza, Argentina, in June 2005, taking over at stand-off after David Blair had been injured in the previous match.

Mike kicked six conversions in the Scotsí 52-20 win, and he went on to play in the two remaining games, kicking 20 points in the 43-25 victory against Wales. His previous international honours included playing in the 2003 under-19 world championship in France.

Mike added to his credits with a Scotland sevens debut in December 2006 in the Dubai tournament which kicked off the IRBís 2006-2007 world series. In the subsequent tournament in George, South Africa, he scored half of Scotlandís 60 points with four tries and five conversions.

He helped Glasgow Hawks to National Cup victory and was named Scotland's 7s Player of the Year in 2007.

Mike is a former pupil of Dollar Academy and has been studying at Glasgow University.

He has also represented Scottish Schools at under-16 level and Scotland at under-18A. His brother, David, has played for Scottish Schools at U19.
