Leinster 40 - 21 Glasgow Warriors

GUINNESS PRO14 match played at RDS on Sunday February 28th 2021 | No comments

Tom Gordon went over for Glasgow's first try
Glasgow went down to another PRO14 defeat at the hands of Leinster this evening but there were encouraging signs in the performance.

Leinster are closing in on another PRO14 Final so Warriors already faced a tough challenge before they lost Adam Hastings who was red carded after 37 minutes. The fly-half was deemed guilty of dangerous play, with the Scotland international's high foot connecting with Cian Kelleher's face. Warriors also lost Cole Forbes and TJ Ioane to the sin-bin over the 80 minutes.

The Dublin men went on to secure the bonus point before half-time through Harry Byrne, a penalty try and two Scott Penny scores.

Tom Gordon replied for Glasgow who looked like they were in for a tough second period, but Rufus McClean and Huw Jones brought the 14 men back into the contest before late tries from Luke McGrath and Cian Kelleher put a bit of gloss on the Leinster win.
