Prop Tommy McGee and stand-off Ally Warnock Join from Boroughmuir, while Centre Matt Dey and scrum half Rory Lawson join from Heriot's FP and hooker Andy Kelly from Currie. Warnock was given a two year contract while the other players have signed for one year.
Warnock said: "To be able to train and play alongside the likes of Todd Blackadder, it is an ideal situation for me to be in."
With the exception of Lawson, the four remaining new signings earned first starts for the Gunners in their last match of the season when they visited Borders; it was a strong hint they would be coming on board to the professional set-up.
Meanwhile, Glasgow are now set to offer full-time terms to Dave Millard, Aberdeen GSFP's wing/full back. Millard had been expected to be part of Edinburgh's back-up squad.
