Celtic Warriors out for revenge

Celtic Warriors are out for revenge after their Celtic Cup defeat to Glasgow.
Coach Lynn Howells is demanding that his Celtic Warriors players 'turn up this time' when they go on a revenge mission against Glasgow at the Brewery Field on Friday night.

Howells describes their 19-9 defeat by Glasgow in the first round of the Celtic Cup back in September as 'a bad day at the office for everyone' and, having lost to them in that game, that puts an extra edge on this match.

"We will have to be more physical on Friday because in the cup they outmuscled us and our ball retention and turnovers were the worst by any side I have been involved with - basically we did not turn up."

Just a quick reminder that a meeting of Glasgow supporters has been scheduled for Wednesday 12th November at Hughenden starting at 7.00pm. Glasgow's Alan Bulloch and Simon Gunn will be coming along to answer questions from fans and fill us in on their build-up to the Celtic Cup semi-final with Ulster.

Glasgow's Glenn Metcalfe missed Scotland's training session today as he recovers from the battering he received at the hands of the Fijians last weekend.
