Posted by Gary IPA on February 9, 2005 05:43 PM | Reply to this comment Not really, we know the truth................. Posted by Gordon on February 9, 2005 08:14 PM | Reply to this comment It always surprises me how disappointed some fans are when certain players play well. Posted by Gary IPA on February 10, 2005 06:54 AM | Reply to this comment I wasn't disapointed Gordon I thought he played very well last week, probably the best I've seen him play. Posted by Gordon on February 10, 2005 08:50 AM | Reply to this comment Glad to hear it Gary, but I was thinking more about some of the contributors on places like the BBC messageboard and SRU chatroom. A number of them are quite gutted that Dan Parks played well - in the same way as some Scottish fans were gutted when Kenny Logan or dare I say it, Brendan Laney played well. Posted by Gary IPA on February 10, 2005 08:56 AM | Reply to this comment I rarely visit the SRU chatroom now as many of the contributors are T##+*s. I know what you mean though its always fun when Chainsaw puts a good game in. Problem is when he play well he is very very good but when he plays badly he's embarassing. Too much of an inconsistency unlike Dan who is much more reliable. Posted by John on February 10, 2005 09:33 AM | Reply to this comment Yeah, got to agree the glasgow players more often than not get slated on the sru website and even when our boys play well don't get the credit they deserve. Posted by Gordon on February 10, 2005 05:03 PM | Reply to this comment The SRU chatroom regulars are bastions of reasoned argument compared to some of the contributors on the BBC site, and in particular one poster - BUSH - aka Bushy Nairn. The abuse this guy gives some players and Dan Parks in particular is a disgrace. Claims to be a Glasgow supporter too... Posted by Gordon on February 10, 2005 05:46 PM | Reply to this comment In fact, he's a prime example of one of these "fans" that will be sitting hoping a Scotland player has a howler. Posted by Harriet Warne on March 23, 2005 05:23 PM | Reply to this comment Hi, Posted by Phall on February 15, 2005 11:17 AM | Reply to this comment Does this "team" include the match against Ireland? Posted by Alan on February 15, 2005 10:13 PM | Reply to this comment Obviously, Phall, it was "team of the week" (i.e last week) which kind of negates IPA's point about "unlike Dan who is much more reliable" ..I'm disappointed!
