Stringer misses out for Munster

Peter Stringer has been ruled out of Munster's Celtic League clash with Glasgow Warriors at Hughenden through injury.

Stringer is suffering with a minor ankle problem, so Frank Murphy will partner Paul Burke in the half-backs.

Munster boss Declan Kidney has made two other changes to the starting XV which demolished the Ospreys last weekend, with Barry Murphy replacing John Kelly on the right wing, and Denis Leamy switching from outside centre to number eight to facilitate the return of Rob Henderson.

Kelly and Anthony Foley both drop to the bench, where they will sit alongside Lions duo, Ronan O'Gara and Donncha O'Callaghan, who will be hoping to make their first appearances of the season.

Munster: S Payne; B Murphy, R Henderson, T Halstead, A Horgan; P Burke, F Murphy; M Horan, F Sheahan, F Pucciariello; T Hogan, M O'Driscoll; A Quinlan, D Wallace, D Leamy.

Replacements: F Roche, J Flannery, D O'Callaghan, A Foley, M Prendergast, R O'Gara, J Kelly
