The Scotland and Borders backrow man has had approaches from French and English clubs but looks set to make the move to Glasgow when the Reivers close at the end of the season.
"If I do end up at Glasgow it will be tough establishing myself because there are a lot of top quality back-row players there," he said in The Herald. "I know a lot of the Glasgow boys and things seem to be going very well. People want to be associated with success and with Glasgow going well just now, it does make them a very attractive proposition."
