Unchanged team to face Ulster

Colin retains the number 15 shirt to face Ulster
Glasgow Warriors head coach, Sean Lineen, today named an unchanged starting XV for Friday night’s Magners League clash with Ulster at Firhill (ko 7.30pm).

The Warriors’ last outing was the 38-21 six try rout away to Scarlets and Sean is looking for much of the same from his charges.

"It was a fantastic result a fortnight ago," he said, "we scored some great tries, but we can’t afford to dwell on that too much.

"We’ve got four big games left this season, two of which are at home, so it’s vital that the crowd play their part and really get behind the players. Our target this season was to improve on our fifth place finish last year and we’re so close to achieving that."

Utility back Colin Gregor retains his position at fullback having slotted four conversions at the Parc Y Scarlets to exceed 250 points in his six year career with Glasgow.

Meanwhile, centre Andrew Henderson makes the match 22 for the first time following the broken hand which he sustained during Glasgow’s Heineken Cup win over Toulouse back in January.

Dan Parks remains on the bench, although the Glasgow coach argued that the Scotland fly-half had the mental strength to cope with playing second fiddle to Ruaridh Jackson, who has been given the playmaker role again.

"It would knock anyone back, what's happened to Dan over the past two years," Sean said in The Telegraph. "At the moment I just think his best position is on the bench.

"What a difference he made coming on against Llanelli. When he came on with 25 minutes to go he took control of the game. He's still very keen and it's up to him to make a difference when he does come on."
