Former Glasgow favourite Dan Parks will face his old team for the first time since leaving the Warriors after a seven year stint in the city.
With Ruaridh back in the starting line-up he'll face the man he rates as his rugby mentor.
The Warriors stand-off told the Evening Times: "I have not played against Dan since he left Glasgow a couple of seasons back and it will certainly add some spice to be coming up against him tonight.
"He was a legend at Glasgow where he made such a difference in so many games for us when we were based at Firhill.
"There is nobody better at controlling a game if you let him than Dan. So I expect I will perhaps be kicking a bit more tonight than I would usually and playing a bit more direct.
"But the bottom line is you can't afford to get too absorbed in what the opposition are doing.
"I know what my strengths are and it is up to me to impose them on Dan and make sure Glasgow are playing in the right areas and playing our game to the peak of our abilities.
"But there is no doubt that the thought of playing against Dan has definitely given me extra motivation this week."
