Jack Dempsey will be out of action for six to eight weeks

Glasgow forward Jack Dempsey is set for a spell on the sidelines after suffering a head injury in last weekend's win over Ulster at Scotstoun.

Dempsey will undergo surgery after breaking a piece of bone above his eye and looks set to miss Glasgow's opening European games and the double header with Edinburgh over Christmas and New Year.
