Speaking to Glasgow Warriors TV, Richardson said: "It's a really nice group of guys and I'm getting on really well with everyone. They work really, really hard. We started a Bronco on day one and they were absolutely flying the entire way through. It was really impressive to be part of. I can tell this is a team that is willing to work as hard as the best to make sure they are one of them.
"So the expectations are obviously very high this year. We've come off the back of what was a pretty monumentous win away from home. Everyone was expecting the Bulls to get it - it shows a lot of the grit of the team. And coming into an environment, where that standard is, it doesn't matter who you're playing you're going to give it your absolute all. It's pretty clear coming straight in that standard hasn't changed. You know everyone's willing to put in the work from day one and keep pushing through."
There are a number of familiar faces in the Glasgow squad - the former Scotland U20 prop explained: "I am originally from just outside of Edinburgh, a place called North Queensferry, so I played for Edinburgh Accies after I finished school. Me and Jack Mann were there together for half a season. It's been a while since I've spent much time with him but we we've picked it back up and we're getting on well.
"I'm really looking forward to getting some game time in the URC and that's where I've set my goal. I want to be playing so I'm looking forward to proving to Franco that I'm ready to make that step up and get some game time."
