Midi Olympique is reporting that Hastings has agreed a move to France at the end of the current season.
Hastings is in his second spell with Glasgow after a spending three seasons in England with Gloucester. A nasty injury to his jaw limited his opportunities during his first season back at Scotstoun but he has been in impressive form during the current campaign.
If the move goes ahead, Hastings will strengthen the ex-Glasgow contingent at Montpellier alongside Ali Price, Stuart Hogg and Domingo Miotti.
