Tries from Nairn Moncrieff, Joe Roberts, Henry Kesterton, player-of-the-match Jake Dalziel, Rory McHaffie and Harvey Preston sealed a bonus-point victory as Scotland U20 put together a powerful and assured performance.
Scotland struck early after Italy wing Luca Rossi was yellow-carded for a dangerous tackle, with Moncrieff finishing a slick move from a scrum. Despite struggling for territory, Scotland extended their lead through skipper Roberts from a line-out maul, before Kesterton crossed from a clever set play to make it 17-3 at half-time.
After the break, Dalziel's influence continued and he secured the bonus point with a fine try of his own. Italy responded through Daniele Coluzzi, but Scotland's defence held firm before late tries from McHaffie and Preston added gloss to an emphatic 36-10 win, their first U20 Six Nations away victory since 2020.
