The visitors struck first, but Glasgow hit back when Briar McNamara sliced through the defence to score, with Millie Warren converting to level at 7-7. Wolfhounds finished the half strongly, however, taking control to lead 21-7 at the break.
The Irish side extended their advantage early in the second half to secure a bonus point and eventually moved 35-7 clear, despite a committed Warriors defensive effort.
Glasgow refused to fold. Aicha Sutcliffe powered over from close range before Emily Coubrough finished smartly after sustained pressure, Warren converting to cut the gap to 35-19. Any hopes of a late turnaround were checked by another Wolfhounds try, but the hosts had the final say as Warren intercepted and raced in under the posts, adding the conversion to clinch a vital try bonus point at the death.
Speaking after full-time, Glasgow Warriors Women Head Coach Lindsey Smith said: "Frustrating start again but what I think we are good at is staying in the fight. I like our determination to get four tries but I'd prefer we didn't leave it until the end.
"I'm pleased with some areas of our performance but again we still have some things we need to sharpen up on to get a more complete 80 minute performance."
The result leaves Wolfhounds top of the Celtic Challenge table, while Warriors take confidence from another strong late response at Scotstoun.
