Fraser is fully aware of the importance of every URC fixture as the season reaches a crucial stage.
"Every game counts towards the league and we want to finish as high up as we can," said Fraser.
"So, when we get our opportunity, we've just got to take it and then take it where they are. So, we don't have a drop in performance and that's what we try to focus on.
The forward insists the squad's attention remains firmly on their own standards rather than the wider league picture.
"We've just got to focus on what we're doing and just go one step at a time. But, yeah, it's great to see where we are. But we're not looking down too much."
After a brief break in the schedule, Fraser revealed the squad were quickly brought back up to intensity under head coach Franco Smith.
"We had a couple of weeks off and then when we came back in, Franco (Smith) put us back into pre-season mode. So it's a lot of hard work getting us back into shape and it's just a lot of organisation and the boys get to run at each other."
Although Fraser came through the ranks as a hooker, he has spent the bulk of his recent game time operating on the openside flank. The 26-year-old, however, is comfortable wherever he is needed.
"No, I still do all my throwing and scrumming at hooker," admitted Fraser.
"I just want to play rugby as much as I can. If that's in the back row or at hooker, I don't mind. Just any opportunity I get, I want to be out there."
