Brown first joined the club in 2018 and has since progressed through a number of senior roles, including Team Manager and Head of Operations. He was appointed Interim Managing Director in September last year.
During his six months in the position, Glasgow Warriors have enjoyed a strong period on the field. The team currently sit top of the United Rugby Championship standings and completed an unbeaten pool stage in the Investec Champions Cup.
The club also retained the 1872 Cup, with the showpiece fixture at Hampden Park once again proving a major success in terms of both performance and supporter engagement.
Off the field, Glasgow Warriors Women have continued to grow, highlighted by a club-record crowd of 1,841 for a standalone women's fixture during last Friday's Celtic Challenge match against Edinburgh at Scotstoun.
Speaking after his appointment was confirmed, Brown said: "It's an incredible honour to be appointed Managing Director of a club I've been proud to serve for many years.
"The last six months have reinforced just how special this club is, from our players and backroom team, to our sponsors, partners and, of course, our supporters.
"I'm hugely grateful for the trust that's been placed in me and I'm excited to continue building on the strong foundations already in place."
