The summer arrival came off the bench in the second half as Franco Smith's men overturned a half-time deficit to get their URC campaign off to a winning start.
Having featured in the friendly against Bath, Kuenzle was delighted to pull on a Warriors jersey in competitive action for the first time.
"Yeah, mate, it was unreal," Kuenzle told Premier Sports' Ryan Wilson.
"Great atmosphere here in Munster. Obviously the boys talked about the rivalry between us two, but yeah, it was unreal.
"Great to get the kit on and get out there."
The Australian has quickly settled into life with the Warriors following his move to Scotstoun, with the 28-year-old enjoying his first weeks in Glasgow.
"Yeah, mate, been unreal," he said.
"Obviously it's been pretty quick, the way having to come over here, but I've loved every minute.
"The boys have been unreal with me and, yeah, it's been a seamless transition, to be fair.
"So, no, just looking forward to getting more games and ripping in."
Kuenzle's versatility provides Smith and his coaching team with options across the back-line, with Assistant Coach Nigel Carolan having dubbed the new Warrior a "Swiss Army knife".
It is a description that has gone down well with Kuenzle, whose Swiss heritage provides an added connection to the nickname.
"Yeah, mate. Well, I don't know if it's my Swiss heritage too, so I don't know if there's a double entendre or whatever!" he laughed.
"But yeah, I'm happy with it, mate. I'm happy to do a job."
While the Australian admits that midfield is his preferred position, he is ready to contribute wherever required as he looks to build on his competitive debut.
"I do enjoy playing in the midfield," said Kuenzle.
"But look, mate, if there's a spot open, I'll happily put my hand up."
