Derby day opener

Peter Jericevich has joined Hawks from GHA
The new rugby season kicks off on Saturday when West Of Scotland take on Glasgow Hawks in a derby match at Burnbrae.

Both clubs have made additions to their squads from the National Academy - Jamie Hunter and Peter Horne have joined West while Peter Jericevich, Andrew White, Andrew Kirkland and Nick Campbell have made the move to Hawks.

Hawks can look to the experience of Mike Rainey and Steve Gordon who are back at Old Anniesland while Rory Kerr has returned to Burnbrae after a couple of seasons with Hawks.
