Warriors in Integrated Tournament action

The top two teams in the Integrated Tournament produced twelve tries as Aberdeen GSFP ran out 43-27 winners over Glasgow Hawks at Rubislaw.

Warriors Andy Kelly, Kenny Sinclair and Ian McInroy turned out for Hawks while Andy Wilson made a second-half appearance for Aberdeen. Rory McKay faced his old Hawks teamates while Tommy Hayes was ruled out with a shoulder injury, preventing him facing his old club.

Glasgow prop Lee Harrison scored a try as Melrose defeated Peebles 25-22 at The Greenyards. Chris Black, the Glasgow scrum-half, was yellow carded for deliberately killing the ball but his Boroughmuir team still ran out 29-25 winners at Heriot's. Ben Daly was forced off with a rib injury and looks likely to face another spell on the sidelines.

Glasgow winger Jon Steel was impressive for Jed-Forest as they overcame Stirling County 34-32 at Riverside Park, while Barry Irving produced a commanding performance for Currie in their 41-27 victory over Hawick at Malleny Park. Alan Bulloch dropped out of the Currie team after being named in the Scotland A squad. Glasgow coach, Kiwi Searancke, watched GHA defeat West Of Scotland 46-10 at Burnbrae.
